Why does love feel so good?

Does love astound you? Alternatively, does love amaze you? In order to explain how love feels one does not have to understand what love means. Love produces different results for different people.

The meaning of love

Since, there are many definitions for love it is impossible to explain what love means to someone. No two people feel love the same way only the person who loves someone feels the true definition of love. People love one another for different reasons. That is why love is so hard to define. Love is indescribable.

The types of feelings love produces

Joy- An eagerness to be with the one you love

Trust- There is no need to play games with each other

Admiration- There are only two people in the whole world: You and the one you love.

Honesty- There is no hiding behind masks. You are free to be you.

Respect- Understanding and accepting the person you love.

Love produces feelings that are everlasting. Love is a powerful emotion that brings joy into someone’s life. Love feels the way you feel about yourself. When you love yourself, you are allowing others to love you.

Richard Marx - Right Here Waiting lyrics

Richard Marx - Right Here Waiting lyrics
Artist: Richard Marx Lyrics

Oceans apart day after day
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice on the line
But it doesn't stop the pain

If I see you next to never
How can we say forever

Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you

I took for granted, all the times
That I though would last somehow
I hear the laughter, I taste the tears
But I can't get near you now

Oh, can't you see it baby
You've got me goin' CrAzY

Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you

I wonder how we can survive
This romance
But in the end if I'm with you
I'll take the chance

Oh, can't you see it baby
You've got me goin' cRaZy

Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you

What is life science ?

What life science is;
Science has many branches, such as physical science, earth science, and life science. Life science is the study of living things -plants and animals. It helps to explain how living things relate to one another and to their surroundings.
Put yourself in the place of a life scientist. Try to figure our the following press releases. Can you explain these events?

CHINA: DECEMBER, 1974 - Snakes crawled from their winter sleeping places. They froze to death in the winter cold. Rats also behaved in a strange way. They came out of their hiding places and wandered around the streets in broad daylight. These events were followed by an earthquake.
CHINA: FEBRUARY, 1975 - Geese were seen flying into trees. Dogs howled for no clear reason. These events were followed by an earthquake.

GREECE: - Mice, weasels, and other burrowing animals were seen fleeing from the ancient city of Helice. Five days later the city was leveled by an earth quake.

Earthquakes do affect living things. Because life scientists study the behavior of living things they may be able to predict earthquakes. This is only one of the many ways life science is used in the world.

BAD NEWS FROM www.manutd.com

Rooney out for 2-3 weeks. Sir Alex Ferguson expects Wayne Rooney to be out for two to three weeks.

The boss gave this estimate to MUTV in an exclusive interview, prior to Friday's press conference. Referring to the World Cup, he said: "The nation can stop praying now!"

At the media briefing itself, Sir Alex said, "We are relieved about Wayne. The diagnosis - no fracture, just ankle ligament damage - is good news, considering how bad it looked. "He is looking at (being out for) two to three weeks so we will have to pick a team without him. But I think there are plenty of goals in the team without Wayne.

"Goals will be important because we will need them, particularly against Bayern next Wednesday when we have to turn the tie around. "The United boss confirmed that "everyone else who played on Tuesday night is okay." Not only that, but long-term absentees John O'Shea and Owen Hargreaves have been training well enough to be considered for substitute berths against Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
"O’Shea and Hargreaves have done lots of work in recent weeks and they are back, they need to be back," said Sir Alex.
”They could feature on the bench, one on Saturday and the other on Wednesday. Including them in the first-team squad is important in boosting their confidence."

Hargreaves looks favourite to be in the 18 against Chelsea - he is ineligible for the Champions League as United did not register him for the knock-out rounds.

The Daily Express reports it as "England’s lucky break…but United are left to lick their wounds over star."

The Sun sets 17 April as his likely return date - the date of the Manchester derby at Eastlands.

CHALLENGES FACED BY ME DURING MY FIRST SEMESTER

Tertiary education means sure will be more demanding, challenging, tougher and also tricky. When I was in first semester, there were classes, study, socialization and a new living situation amongst other big changes in my life. Beginning my first semester at college can feel pretty overwhelming at first. As a result I find myself experiencing a myriad of emotions as I adjust to all of these changes in my life. But these changes make me feel both excited and overwhelmed with the newfound independence that I discover in college. And my first semester at university college was as equally thrilling and astounding. There are a few common experiences most people share when beginning their first college term. And here are a few of the things I experiences during my first semester at college.

Homesickness is one of the challenges faced by me during my first semester. When I leave home to go live in the hostel I feel a yearning for home. It may help to keep my family and friends on speed dial and if possible, get a laptop so I’ll have easy access to email. Even I was commuting to school, expect to face a bit of longing for my family and friends because my schedule will be jam packed with coursework and due dates; time will no longer be a luxury.

Next is demanding work. I should expect to work, and anticipate a lot of it. I have to prepare myself to read chapters and study additional hours on top of attending class. With all of this work, expect to receive new challenges too. The good news is after it is over I'll reap the rewards of my success.

Other than that, time management is one of the challenges faced by me during my first semester. Anticipate having to frequently do a balancing act, especially when I was taking a full load of courses this semester. It will help to keep a calendar of my assignments because I have to remember a lot of dates to timely complete my assignments. With the heavy workload which accompanies going to college, until I adjust to expectations and develop methods to manage time, it might get a bit overwhelming. Keeping a written log of what needs to be done will help ease the pressure of trying to recall everything; it will simplify my tasks.

Beginning my first semester will likely have its struggles. For the next few years life will not be as I've known it in the past. At first it may be a little difficult to balance these new responsibilities, but once I fall into the swing of things, I'll find this gets a little easier. The initial time period during the first semester is often the hardest of my college career. This time will undoubtedly be a period of adjustment, but in time I'll settle in and before I know it, I'll find myself looking forward to my second semester.

Biotechnology

Is the Science of the Future
Biotechnology is the application of biological organisms, systems, or processes by various industries to learning about the science of life and the improvement of the value of materials and organisms such as pharmaceuticals, crops, and livestock. It is a relatively new and fast-developing field that integrates knowledge from several traditional sciences: biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, and chemical engineering.

The real future of biotechnology has more to do with chemistry than was ever imagined. Biotechnology depends on the ability to manipulate chemical structure. Opportunities are opening up for chemists across the biotechnology industry, offering the chance to work on the cutting edge of a dynamic and still largely developmental field.

Biotechnology is a source of great promise for innovations ranging from improving the diagnosis and treatment of hereditary diseases, to safer drugs, to more environmentally friendly herbicides and pesticides, to microbial processes to clean up the environment. Making these promises a reality requires rethinking some fundamental assumptions.
"Molecular biology has not given us everything that we thought it would," says Gary Kuroki, a chemist and research scientist at DNA Plant Technologies. "Companies are integrating the sciences, bringing new perspectives from chemistry, biochemistry, and genetics to tackle questions from as many angles as possible."
Blake Pepinsky, a group leader at Biogen, agrees. "When I started out, you could clone a new gene and it was automatically a product," he says. "Now, we need a better understanding of both biology and chemistry to discover new products." When the biotechnology industry started to reach this conclusion, more companies began hiring chemists than ever before.

"What we do," explains Mark Reynolds, a chemist and scientist who works on biotechnology drug development at Genentech, "is use biological products like peptides, DNA, and amino acids to develop a molecule that will bind to receptors in the human body. When these molecules bind to the receptor, they can turn it on or off. Having achieved this result, we can then make a new drug."

Offers a Range of Career Possibilities

When most people think of opportunities for careers in biotechnology, they think of a scientist in a white coat in a laboratory developing drugs to improve the quality of life. However, biotechnology has a wide variety of career opportunities ranging from sales and marketing, to research and development, to manufacturing and quality control and assurance.

What You Can Do Now

Get as much background in biology, chemistry, and genetics as you can. All these disciplines are critical in biotechnology, and being well-rounded only works to your benefit. Lab experience is also important. Most companies have summer student programs and students profit from this experience by finding out if this is a field they might enjoy. The earlier you participate in this type of experience, the more advantages you will reap.

I HATE LOVE because LOVE HURTS

“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.”

Yesterday you were fine, friends and family, they even liked you, understood you. But now you are different, pathetic, not yourself. Not the one you thought you were. Vulnerable, it's impossible, you can't live with yourself. You want to marry and merge and hibernate, yet, they don't understand, they think it's about them, they think you are in love with them, they think it's about them, but they are wrong, this is not the case. You are in love with the two, the couple, the pair, the twins. It's not them, it's us.

You want them to become an us. The We. Our. Not me and mine, or yours and you. You want to get lost in them, and them in you. No them. No you. Be consumed. But they don't understand and you die. You fight yourself because you blew it. You lost yourself. And they didn't loose themselves. You are a fool, you think. Now you can't find yourself. You threw it away to create we - a we. But they don't understand, they think you are in love with them - about them, their self. And so, they start to cry why don't you love me like before? And you cannot say But I do! You cannot say that you still love them because there is no we. There is no us.
  • Can you see.
  • We think it's all about me.
  • But love is not about me, I, you, they, them.
  • Love is about an us.
  • To love an US people must let go of the ME and learn to protect it.
  • In love there is no me.
  • In love there is no you.
  • To fall in love is to fall from the I.
  • And work for the two
  • Live with Spirit
