Harimau Malaya looking to end 20 year gold drought

Super Baddrol fires Malaysia into finals

Baddrol was the hero as the Malaysia overcome stiff resistance from Laos last night to triumph 3-1 and enter the Sea Games football final. he gave Malaysia the lead with a brilliant effort in the 13th min but the Under-23 side looked to have undone themselves with a timid display in the second half, resulting in Laos equalizing and making the running.
But Baddrol restored Malaysia's lead in the 80th min, and Safiq confirmed Malaysia's place in the final with an opportunistic goal five min from time.
Up next for Malaysia, who are looking to end a 20-years wait for gold, are Vietnam who beat Singapore 4-1 in the other semi final.
The final is also a chance for Malaysia to atone for their misbehavior when the two sides meet in a group game last week which Vietnam won 3-1.
Personally i think Malaysia deserve the win especially at the first 10 min of second half where Malaysia was look solid rock at the defense and also in the attacking. This young squad is a perfect mixture which can produce superb world class performance. They deserve gold medal in this event. And I can say it loud "MALAYSIA BOLEH".
