
Seremban - Manchester United soccerstar Cristiano Ronaldo is confident that he will win the Ballon d’Or. “I’m really confident, ” Ronaldo said to La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I don’t see Lionel Messi and Xavi as a serious rivals and I feel pretty much relaxed”, Ronaldo continue.
Villareal and France soccerstar Robert Pires also sent his support for Cristiano Ronaldo to win The Ballon d’Or. “I’m Cristiano fans, He was amazing last season, so he should be voted Ballon d’Or”, Pires said. “He is an amazing individual talent, but not a selfish one, as what he does is massive for his team”
Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a total of 42 goals in all competitions 07/08 with his club Manchester United and won double title the Premier League and Champions League.
However even Ronaldo very confident he must faces competition from 29 other players for the European crown, including AC Milan and Italian league favourite Kaka as well as United team-mate Wayne Rooney and fellow Premier League star Fernando Torres of Liverpool.
